Important illustrator tools for this project was the pen tool and the shape builder tool. The pen tool was important because you had to make the outline path for the machine to cut. The shape builder was also important because it fused shapes together in order for the machine to cut properly.

The most challenging part of the project was thinking about how the machine will cut out the sticker. I had to think about how thin my shapes are and how I will stick on to something.

A composition grid is a grid with shapes and it helps you plan where you place your design. It helped create an idea and when it got to the designing part it went really fast, since you already have everything planned out.

My sticker fits the nature lover theme because I incorporated trees and an elk, which was something unique. My saying was nature, and that definitely fits the nature lover theme. Plus, the font was a cursive font, and that adds to the flow of my theme.

My sticker was cut out well, the only hard part was getting it onto a surface. It was challenging because I did mine in one shape, so I had to put everything down in one go. The branches and horns made it harder as well since it was so thin. The were many parts of the sticker sticking onto itself, and I also ripped some parts because of that. I also got some air bubbles in my sticker since the sticker was all streched from the pulling.
